A visit to Israel, no doubt, makes the Bible come alive like never before, to walk in the footsteps of the patriarchs and Yeshua Himself. In many of those early opportunities, the perspective and context surrounding those visits was "Christian" meaning from a "Roman/Greco" mindset. Places were visited and explained from a purely "Christian" viewpoint and skewed to represent the typical views of the "Christian" religion. When Yeshua called His original disciples, He didn't say to follow religion, He said, "Follow Me." Could it be that over two thousand years, religion has shifted away from the true and authentic Hebraic context of the Bible? Is there much more that can be learned when attempting to discover and learn the purest and most authentic context of the places and people we are reading about in the Bible?
